A filter which can be installed directly through the main pipe to provide filtered water for the whole house.   Standard unit contain multiple layer of gravel, coarse sand & fine sand to remove mud & sediment up to 5-10 microns : and contain granular actived carbon to remove chlorine, taste, odour, colour and organic chemicals. Requires periodic manual or auto backwash for optimum flow performance. The backwash process is simple and usually takes only a few minutes.
